Motion Asia Pacific Partners with Australian Red Cross

Motion Asia Pacific has a long-standing culture of philanthropy. Our ‘Giving Back’ is led by a strong sense of taking care of our employees in times of need and responding to communities impacted by natural disasters.

Our philanthropic journey has evolved as our organisation has grown. In 2019, we embarked on formalising our Giving Back in Australia. A Giving Back Committee was formed to champion our charitable endeavours across our Australian businesses and deliver a partner-program that resonates with our employees.

To decide which charitable organisation our employees would prefer to partner with, the Giving Back Committee conducted a nationwide employee survey. The survey resulted in the selection of the Australian Red Cross.

In November 2019, Motion Asia Pacific proudly partnered with Australian Red Cross.

We are delighted to be aligned with an organisation helping Australians get through tough times. Our partnership with the Australian Red Cross brings a genuine sense of pride to our employees as they recognise the impactful benefits Red Cross make to those in need.

Through our partnership, we directly support Red Cross’s Telecross program. Telecross provides a daily telephone call to people who are isolated and at risk of an accident or illness. The phone calls bring peace of mind to both older people living alone, and their families, through a daily check on the participant’s wellbeing and safety. Telecross has been invaluable throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.

Committed to developing our partnership with the Australian Red Cross we will continue to foster a culture of giving back in our organisation. We are introducing volunteering programs for our employees to actively participate and remain a responsible corporate citizen.

Other organisations we regularly support include:

  • Indonesian Red Cross Society
  • Pink for a Day – Breast Cancer Foundation NZ
  • R U OK? Day
  • Footy Colours Day – Fight Cancer Foundation Australia
